I can’t believe Christmas is almost here again! OK, well, we did do Christmas in July so it hasn’t actually been that long for us…
Fall has gone by quickly. Tyson’s school has remained 100% virtual, so we are now well practiced in juggling our home / office / classroom responsibilities within these four walls.
Tyson turned 10 in October! We surprised him with a trip to Florida, with his main gift being a day at ATX (Astronaut Training Experience), which was basically like a condensed space camp. We spent another day visiting the Kennedy Space Center (saw our 3rd space shuttle – only one more to go!), went to Cocoa Beach, toured the Daytona International Speedway, and the boys even went on a night time kayaking trip to see the bioluminescent creatures off Cape Canaveral.
Halloween was quite different this year. Our neighborhood did “reverse trick or treating” – everyone dressed up but stayed in their driveway and the homeowner’s board brought the candy to you. We also won Spookiest Pumpkin and Most Creative house decorations. You might notice we have a new member in our family – Gilly the skeleton. What started as a birthday gift from mom has become a fixture in our house. She even went to Florida with us…
Thanksgiving was pretty much the usual for us (except for that weird parade).
Wishing you all well in this holiday season!
How in the world can Tyson by 10!!! There is no way that we are old enough to have all of kids in double digits. Great pics
