Hope everyone is having a great summer so far. We spent the last week in May at Seabrook Island – our usual beach stomping grounds. Tyson has lost any previous fear he had about water – he had no issue marching straight into the ocean or taking a running leap into the pool. He has also taken a liking to the sand. We had some fun field trips: outdoor concert (Tyson loves to get down with the ladies), Firefly distillery (it’s not just about the alcohol…they have animals there too), and we even made it to Charleston one day for a carriage tour and the aquarium. Our last day of vacation was actually Trav’s 40th birthday! Mom and I could not figure out what to get him, so we ended up chartering a boat for an after dinner cruise! Capt. Harry took us around to see the shrimp boats, dolphins up close, an eagle’s nest, a couple of ship wrecks, and the sunset while we drank a little bubbly and of course, had cake! It was definitely memorable. Check out the pictures here.
